Hot Wallet:

  • What it is: A digital wallet that is always connected to the internet, such as mobile apps, browser extensions, or software.

  • Pros: Extremely easy to use, perfect for daily trading and quick access to funds.

  • Cons: More vulnerable to online attacks and hacking than cold wallets.

Cold Wallet:

  • What it is: A physical wallet that is not connected to the internet, such as hardware devices (like Ledger or Trezor) or paper wallets.

  • Pros: Highest level of security, making it impossible to hack remotely. Perfect for long-term storage (HODL).

  • Cons: Less flexible for frequent daily transactions and requires protection from physical loss or damage.
